Remote function

The remote’s function can be configured as follow:

Diagnostics via parking lights

Diagnostic table for shutdown.

Parking lights flashes

Cause

•

Runtime has expired.

• Shutdown by remote.

•

Ready mode is activated.

•

Failed start.

•

Brake shutdown.

•

Hood shutdown.

Flash for 30sec

•

Panic mode

Flash for 60sec

•

Alarm triggered

Diagnostic table for start failure.

Parking lights flashes

Cause

(Manual transmission only)

•

Ready mode is not activated.

•

Tach signal is not learned.

1 slow  2 quick

• The system is set to valet mode.

(Automatic transmission

only)

•

The parking brake is active.

• Yellow loop is connected.

•

Brake wire is active

•

A tach signal is detected before Ignition.

•

Hood wire is active.

Note: The installer can also use the PRG-1000 to diagnose shutdown and remote start failures.
